The HIV & Aging Conference, formerly the HIV/AIDS & Aging Symposium, was created to bring community leaders together to improve the lives of older adults living with HIV. For the past 12 years, the Conference has brought some of the top experts in the nation to Austin to educate and inspire Central Texas social workers, physicians, nurses, and care managers to:

  • promote awareness of aging and HIV and aging issues in our community;
  • bring community leaders together to improve the lives of older adults living with HIV; and
  • foster a culture of collaboration among regional service providers and organizations.

The annual one-day event is facilitated by the Central Texas HIV AIDS & Aging Coalition — an all-volunteer, non-profit organization comprised of area health, human services, and community leaders.  Together, we can make Central Texas better for older adults living with HIV, and improve future of our growing community.
